Greensboro area breweries, restaurants and hotels invite beer connoisseurs and those that just like a “cold one” to join in the inaugural North Carolina Beer Month (April) and celebrate with “Hops Around Greensboro”. Guest will find specials on North Carolina beers all month long at participating locations, a Red Oak Beer School is offered at Lucky 32 and a North Carolina Beer Weekend package is set for the last weekend in April at the dashing O. Henry Hotel and much more!

Help us kick off NC Beer Month with the Lee Brothers "Charleston Kitchen" Book Signing & Beer Dinner!  Stop by Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen on March 28 from 5:30pm to 6:15pm to meet award-winning food writers, Matt Lee & Ted Lee. They will sign their highly anticipated cook book, "Charleston Kitchen."  Cookbooks will be available for purchase.  FREE to attend with no reservations required.

Beer School with Red oak at Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen - Join Chef Jay Pierce on April 11, 2013 at 6:30pm for a Beer School featuring brews from Red Oak Brewery.  Beers will be paired with hors' d'oeuvres plus informative commentary by Chef Jay Pierce and learn about Red Oaks' brewing process.  Cost is $40/person (plus tax and gratuity).  Advance reservations are required, call 336-370-0707. Sip N Stroll -The Greensboro Downtown Residents' Association is kicking-off spring and NC's first beer month with the first annual Sip-n-Stroll: a downtown craft beer and wine experience.  This event gives participants a chance to taste select craft beers and wine from 12 or more downtown restaurants and venues including Mellow Mushroom, Table 16, The Worx, Natty Greene's, Tavo, Grey's Tavern, Crafted, Liberty Oak, Opa, The Pour Hose, and Zeto Wines.  The restaurants will also be offering food discounts for participants.
